Based on a process called galvanization, building structures are coated with a thin layer of zinc and are protected from corrosion – increasing their useful life without the need for constant maintenance. Moreover, zinc is used in the production of metal alloys, such as brass, bronze, zamac, among others.
Resistant and dynamic, zinco Special High Grade (SHG) is accredited by the LME and can be supplied in ingots, jumbos and granules – adapting to different applications: galvanizing, material production and use in the chemical industry.
The CGG zinc alloys, used in the continuous galvanizing process, have an addition of up to 1.0% of aluminum. They can be produced in 1t or 2t jumbos, with different shapes and chemical compositions, meeting the needs of our customers.
Always looking for the best technical and cost-effective solutions, we produce special alloys from SHG zinc. Such alloys are used in hot dip galvanizing processes, containing different chemical elements such as aluminum, nickel and bismuth, allowing for a better surface finish on galvanized parts and a reduction in the specific consumption of zinc.
