Co-products in practice

We use state-of-the-art technologies to develop products from our residues and, thus, prevent and reduce the impacts to the environment. Our Coproducts line can be applied in several areas such as agriculture, cattle raising and the chemical industry.

Zinc Oxide 72-75% and type C

It is registered at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) and is highly used in the production of fertilizers and sulfates. The color of the 72- 75% and C-type Zinc Oxide products may vary from yellowish to dark gray.

Copper Sulfate

The main applications of Copper Sulfate are in agriculture, mining and in the chemical industry for electroplating processes in coatings and decorative finishes of metallic parts. This material is also registered with MAPA and complies with the regulations in force.

H2SO4 / SO2

Sulfuric Acid (H2SO4) can be applied in the manufacturing of fertilizers and sulfates, water treatment, leaching in the chemical industry, paper, pulp and sugar bleaching. Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), on the other hand, can be used in the process of bleaching paper, sugar, and kaolin, in addition to being used as a preservative in food products and in the production of bisulfites.

Copper Cement

Used in the manufacture of Copper Sulfate, in the enrichment of Copper Concentrates and in the production of Copper Metal. Copper Cement has a reddish material with a particle size 100% smaller than 75 μm or microns.

Silver Concentrate

Raw material for the production of metallic Silver, the Silver Concentrate is a light-brown particulate material, with a particle size 100% smaller than microns.
