Zinco
Zinc in practice
Through a process called galvanization, building structures are coated with a thin layer of Zinc and are protected from corrosion – increasing their useful life without the need for constant maintenance. Zinc is also used in the manufacture of metal alloys, such as brass, bronze, and Zamac, among others.
SHG Zinc
Tough and dynamic, Special High Grade Zinc is LME accredited and can be supplied in ingot, jumbo, and granule formats – suitable for different applications: galvanizing, manufacturing, and usage in the chemical industry.
CGG Alloys
CGG Zinc Alloys, intended for the continuous galvanizing process, have an addition of up to 1.0% Al. They can be produced in 1t or 2t jumbo jets, with various formats and chemical compositions that meet our customers’ needs.
Special Alloys
Always seeking the best technical and economical solutions, we produce Special Alloys from SHG Zinc. These alloys are used in the hot-dip galvanizing processes, containing different chemical elements such as Aluminum, Nickel and Bismuth, granting a better surface finishing on galvanized parts and reducing the specific consumption of Zinc.
