Corporate policies
Nexa’s policies are defined by the Board of Directors and bring together the Transparency, Equity, Accountability and Corporate Responsibility principles that guide our internal performance and our relationship with stakeholders.
Our purpose is to integrate mining into an ever-changing world as an opportunity for a sustainable development.
We have 8 operations distributed between Brazil and Peru – three of which are refineries and six mines –, including the largest underground zinc mine in Peru (Cerro Lindo) and the largest zinc refinery in the Americas (Cajamarquilla). As a result, we account for 4% of the world’s zinc production and are the only producer of metallic zinc in Latin America, excluding Mexico. We also produce copper, lead, silver and gold as by-products.
